Dancehall musician Karole Kasita has actively pursued her music career for over five years.

Despite her consistent growth in the industry, the singer still feels dissatisfied, considering herself underrated.

Kasita believes she hasn't received the level of recognition and respect she deserves from Ugandans, given her persistent efforts to establish herself in the music scene.

"I feel underrated and not given the appreciation I deserve. Some individuals seem to want to bring me down," she expressed.

One factor that might contribute to this perception is the absence of recent concerts by Kasita. This has potentially led to her capabilities being overlooked in comparison to other female artists such as Sheebah, Spice Diana, Rema, and Winnie Nwagi, who regularly organize concerts.

Kasita's last notable concert was a mini-concert in 2020 at the now-defunct Fame Lounge, a performance that marked her breakthrough with the hit song "Yaka."
