Musician Elijah Kitaka has revealed that he is currently working on a new album, which he believes will help push Ugandan music to a bigger international audience.
Speaking during an interview with a local television station, the singer said the project is still in production and that he is taking his time to ensure it meets the standards he wants.
“I am working on the album. It is being prepared, and I am still working on it. I want to release it when the time is right,” he explained.
Elijah added that the album will introduce something fresh to fans and expressed confidence that the project will break barriers that have limited Ugandan music for years.
“It is a complete body of work and will bring something new to the fans. It will break barriers that have limited us for years, and I expect it to dominate across the world,” he added.
The singer also revealed that while he personally wrote part of the album, he collaborated with other songwriters and creatives to put the project together.
Elijah Kitaka remains one of Uganda’s fast-rising artists and continues to gain recognition for his unique sound and artistic creativity.
