Band musician Carol Nantongo has ruled out staging a concert in the near future, saying she is not in a hurry to step into the concert space.
Speaking in an interview with a local television station, Nantongo revealed that her current priority is releasing more music and building a stronger catalogue for her fans before eventually holding her own concert.
“I don’t plan to stage a concert in the near future. It is not something I am considering at the moment. I want to continue giving my fans music. The concert will come later, but I am not rushing it,” she said.
Nantongo’s decision comes at a time when several of her peers, including Vinka, Spice Diana and Juliana Kanyomozi, have already staged concerts and established themselves on the live music circuit.
However, Nantongo appears keen to take her time, choosing to focus on her music releases before making her concert debut.
