Singer Naava Grey has announced plans to stage another concert following the success of her previous show in February last year.

The singer said the decision was driven by public demand, adding that she continues to build her music career at her own pace because she writes her own songs.

Naava explained that she does not feel pressured to constantly promote her music, noting that she has released new material on YouTube even though she rarely announces it publicly.

“I’m doing another one due to public demand, and I have new music on YouTube, although I don’t announce it. I don’t force my music,” she said.

The singer also addressed questions about her absence from concerts organised by other Ugandan artistes, clarifying that she has never deliberately turned down invitations to perform.

According to Naava, she rarely attends such events because she is not often invited. She suggested that concert organisers tend to select performers whose musical styles align with their own.

“If someone doesn’t call me, I don’t go. I think those artistes pick artistes that fall in their genre, and my music is different,” she added.

Details of Naava Grey’s upcoming concert, including the date and venue, have not yet been announced.
