Many Feared Dead As Boat Carrying party goers Capsize On Lake Victoria

A Boat from Mutima Island has today capsized on Lake Victoria; killing some revellers and others are terribly in unstable condition.

Reports emerging say, the boat was carrying over 100 party goers including Prince Wasajja , Iryn Namubiru,  Chucks Last king , The Mith and most of Kampala 's party Goers. Apparently, a few of them were wearing  life jackets 

Police Statement

Our marine unit teams have rescued over 40 people alive. Ten confirmed dead. The rescue mission is still on to find others. Details to follow

Meanwhile, early reports indicate, Uganda Police Force Marine Unit has rescued over 40 people alive 20 bodies. Rescue mission still on  as AIGP Asan Kasigye confirmed on twitter.

Kabaka Mutebi's brother Prince Wassajja, Hope Mukaska and Kiyimba Freeman are among the People rescued.
