#COVID-19 has affected the world in ways we had never anticipated at all. Most offices are closed, and borders too. The businesses are on standstill and the economy is currently unstable.
There is a daily curfew running from evening to morning(7:00pm to 6:30am). With this, many people are spending their time indoors.
In a snap poll conducted over the weekend by Howwe.biz and Galaxy FM over the weekend via social media, the majority are spending time on social media (54%) followed by watching TV at 40%, Listening to Radio follows with 24%. 15% are spending the time sleeping.
On social media, the majority are spending time on Whatsapp (39% while 29% are in Facebook. Twitter follows with 22%
Among those listening to radios, the majority are listening to Galaxy FM (28%) while 17% are listening to Capital FM . KFM , XFM, Sanyu FM, Simba and Dembe FM are also on the list as shown in the graphs.
For TV, NBS is in the lead with 55% while NTV follows closely with 42% . Bukedde leads the rest of the pack with 11%.
The poll was conducted from 12th April to 15th April using online research tool survey monkey. 89 people responded.
The sample was mostly male, urban residents of Kampala.
