Democratic Party president general, Norbert Mao, has missed out on the first day of nomination for Members of Parliament.

Mao who wanted to contest for Gulu Municipality was turned away by the Gulu Electoral Commission registrar Benson Obete for failure to present a national identity card. Apparently, Mao’s name was also missing on the national voter's register.

This is still a growing story we’ll update you in case of any developments.
