It’s with no doubt that rapper Gravity Omutujju over the weekend attracted mammoth crowds at Lugogo Cricket Oval.
The venue is feared by many local artistes because of its capacity. In record international artistes like UB 40, Neyo, Akon, R.Kelly, Konshens, Busy Signal among many others have leveled to its standards.
Locally Dr. Jose Chameleone attracted a good turn up on the 30th of June during the ‘Hit after Hit’ concert and now Gravity Omutujju.
Well, we talked to husky voices rapper on a quick-fire interview about how he feels after feeling the venue. Here they;
Reporter: How do you feel now?
Gravity: He smiles...man, I can’t believe it. I want to thank everyone that came through .I am still in shock .The event organizers, humble management and my sponsors like MTN, Bukedde TV and Kagwirawo made everything possible .
Reporter: Words on the street is that you gave out thousands of complimentary tickets. What’s your say?
Gravity: Those are haters and people who’s don’t wish me well. I gave complimentary tickets to sponsors. For example, if Kagwirawo sports betting company gives me sponsorship worth 10M, I have to get the some tickets for their fans as well. If it was a free show why is it that Bobi Wine failed to raise people during his charity concert alongside Mr G in 2014 at the same Venue?
Reporter: Challenges you faced?
Gravity: I tried my best and I think God was involved in everything from the start. It’s about doing something good.
Reporter: So, what’s next after Lugogo?
Gravity: Man! I am still speechless for now but I think I can handle Namboole as well because look if I did fill up Lugogo why not Namboole it’s about believing in yourself .I know everything is possible if you believe.
Reporter: Last words?
Gravity: I am still trying new things and I will win. You too can if you believe.
