Singer Namukwaya Diana commonly known as Spice Diana was brutally beaten by Uganda Police during KCCA carnival over the weekend.
It’s alleged that her manager, Roger Lubega and her dancers were also beaten and held at a police cell for over 3 hours before being released on police bond. The ‘Tekinanta’ star is currently admitted at Malcom Hospital located in Kyanja along Entebbe road.
Speaking to her manager, he said that they will accuse the Uganda Police for mishandling citizens. “We can’t just this go. Spice Diana was beaten badly and she is all bruised, “said Lubega.
He also informed us that the police didn’t want to know who she was even when they had official tags hanging around their necks. All this happened at around 7 pm when they had just finished performing at Railway main stage as they crossed over to find BBS TV stage along Nkrumah road for their next performance.
