City socialite Brian White Kirumira will spend Christmas and New years’ day in Luzira for shooting a one Victor Bitwire.
White known for his short-lived lavish life appeared before Makindye chief Magistrate Elias Kakoza who remanded him to Luzira until January 8th 2018. He appeared alongside Okoth Thomas his co-accused.
Kirumira is charged with attempted murder. The accused through their lawyer Bulungu John attempted to seek bail but was blocked by the state prosecutor Happy Ainebyoona who Identified holes in the 4 sureties presented by Kirumira and Okoth.
According to Ainebyoona, one of the sureties did not present an original National ID, she also requested court for time to verify the other documents.
“I believe in the interest of Justice and fair hearing, that I be allowed to look into the documents availed to me and also time to prepare to respond to each of the issues raised by counsel” Ainebyoona prayed.
She prayed for at least three to four days adjournment to verify the documents. Ainebyoona further argued that counsel has conceded that the victim is still in a bad condition and there’s a piece of evidence still lacking. She asked that state is allowed time to speak to the victim before responding to defense counsel.
Brian White was expected to make an appearance at one of the Christmas parties in town to make merry and throw money around like has been the case in his shot lived lavish life.
He is accused to shooting Victor Bitwire at his gate in Buziga after a short argument.
