Nation media Television, NTV has been struggling with 'The Beat show' ever since Douglus Lwanga left for Nbs.They started by moving Teen show presenter, Crysto Panda, to the Beat show to host alongside Sheila Gashumba but when this didn’t work out due to harsh responses from viewers on social media, management opted for a public campaign to hunt for a better replacement.
Before this could mature, Daggy Nice from sister TV, Spark TV tried out his luck but he was informed by the management that they were not confident with him fitting in.
Another name that made rounds on social media is comedian Patrick Idringi alias Salvado. It is said he was approached by management but a few details need to be ironed out before it goes public.
Their main concern is that he travels alot outside the country for gigs which is likely to interfere with the programming of the daily show.
