The 6th annual AMVCA nomination lists were released over the weekend in a televised cast on all Africa Magic Channels.
Ugandans including Cindy Sanyu, Mathew and wife Eleanor Nabwiso, Agaba Joan; Kizito Samuel Saviour, Andrew Ahuura, Rushabiro Raymond and Mulindwa Richard have scooped nominations in different categories.
Cindy was nominated in the category of "Best Actress In A Drama ( Movie/TV Series) for her starring role in "Bella". Agaba Joan was also nominated in the same category for her role in "The Torture" while Mathew and Eleanor Nabwiso were nominated in the category of "Best Movie East Africa" for their role in "Rain" while Kizito Samuel Saviour was nominated in the same category for his role in "The Forbidden", Andrew Ahuura for the best soundtrack, Rushabiro Raymond for the best actor, Mulindwa Richard for the best director in the movie "Torture".
The awards will take place on 1st September 2018.
