Kampala’s foodies will once again get a chance to enjoy food from more than 40 participating restaurants for 10 days at the fourth edition of Kampala Restaurant Week (KRW).

This year’s event which will run from August 1 to 11, 2018 will be spiced up by introducing coupons, where restaurant-goers will not only be limited to using cash but will also be allowed to use coupons at any participating restaurant.

The event aims to showcase Uganda’s finest restaurants while giving customers discounts on some of the most delicious and creatively made dishes on market.

“We thought we would give food lovers a seamless fine dining experience by making it possible for them to enjoy meals at dozens of top-notch restaurants in Kampala as well as major Ugandan towns without them having to pay cash at all if they have coupons," said Pearl Guide’s Philip Kalibwani.

The restaurant week will climax with a closing award giving ceremony to be held on August 13.

“We are excited to be a part of Kampala Restaurant Week yet again. We look forward to an incredible week of superb gastronomic treats paired with Tusker Lite and enjoyed in the company of friends,” said Grace Namutebi, UBL’s Brand Manager for Premium beers.

She confirmed that Tusker Lite will also be continuing with its tradition of providing a complimentary bottle for all KRW menus, while some restaurants will offer wine pairing options and quick creative lunches throughout the week.

The Kampala restaurant has over the years seen more than 15,000 enjoying the meals on offer from over 40 restaurants.

Kampala restaurant week is organized by Pearl Guide in partnership with Tusker Lite.
