Owek Katikiro Charles Peter Mayiga accepted a son-in law into his family over the weekend.
His daughter, Gabriella Namata introduced to the family his fiance, Arnold Tumusiime, a munyoro from Masindi. Tumusiime works in the ministry of finance.
The introduction ceremony took place in Makindye at Mayiga's home, and was attended by big wigs from both Buganda and Central government.
Notable among the guests was the Nabagereka of Buganda, Prince Wassajja, Vice president, Edward Ssekandi and many more.
