UG Records was one of the biggest record labels to have ever rocked the Uganda music scene despite its disappearance 7 years ago.
However, the good news on Howwe desk indicates that the label has been revamped and it's ready to dig deep into the waters of the highly competitive music industry.
While at the official launch of the label hosted by MC Kats at Lit Lounge in Bukoto on Thursday night, the record label directors, Darius Mugisha and Ssali Henry unveiled two new talented artistes, Wendy and Rodger Kent. The two have already hit studio, recorded songs and shot amazing videos that were also officially premiered at the event.
They officially released songs, "Cheza Mummy" ans "Gukuba" by Rodger Kent and Wendy respectively. The songs were both produced by Skills On The Beat and videos directed by Noisy Preacher.
It should be remembered that in the past UG Records managed artistes like Rabadaba and Empress before its closure in 2011.
