Musician Edirisa Musuuza, also known as Eddy Kenzo, has never moved on from his grudge against Diamond Platnumz.
The singer has come out to claim superiority over Diamond Platnumz, asserting he has had a more successful music career than the Tanzanian music icon.
Speaking in an interview with a local television station, Kenzo explained he has performed on bigger stages than Diamond Platnumz and has won bigger awards than him.
"I have performed on bigger stages. I have filled stadiums in Guinea, Cameroon, Gabon, and many other countries... I have won a BET award and received a Grammy nomination. He hasn't done that; how then is he superior to me?" he explained.
Eddy Kenzo says history backs his claim of superiority against Diamond Platnumz and believes it's only his critics who don't appreciate his historical music career.
Eddy Kenzo's beef against Diamond Platnumz was sparked following rumors that the Tanzanian music star was paid over 750 million Uganda shillings for his performance at the Coffee Marathon in Ntungamo.
Kenzo also blamed organizers for treating Diamond Platnumz differently from local artists.
