Media personality Zambali Bulasio Mukasa has spoken out following his endorsement by the National Unity Platform (NUP).
Zambali expressed his happiness regarding the endorsement and thanked the elections management and the party's top leadership.
The media personality, who has been battling with musician Big Eye and incumbent Wakayima Musoke, says he expected to win because of massive support on the ground.
"I have the support, and my people expressed it out. I have been loyal to my party, and I really expected to win because even during the vetting, I passed exceedingly well," he explained.
Zambali is now looking to unite his opponents and all members of the National Unity Platform to ensure the party wins big in the upcoming general elections in Nasana Municipality.
Zambali and other media personalities, including Ivan Kyeyune of NTV's Zugulu, Baaba FM's Swegere, and Busoga One's Anyole Innocent, emerged as winners of the National Unity Platform's party ticket in different constituencies.
