Media personality Mary Nambwayo has once again stirred controversy after publicly declaring that she holds more respect for her pastor than for her husband.
Speaking in an interview with a local YouTuber, Nambwayo confessed that her admiration and loyalty toward her pastor surpass any feelings she has for the man in her home. She emphasized that she would always defend her pastor against any form of criticism, even if it meant disagreeing with her husband.
“I respect my pastor way better than my husband. I actually love him more than the man in the house. I don’t want anyone to criticize my pastor, and if I’m to choose between the two, I’ll always stand with him,” she said.
Nambwayo, however, declined to disclose the pastor’s name or the church she attends.
Her remarks have since sparked heated reactions online — with some condemning her for disrespecting her marriage vows, while others have defended her, saying she’s simply expressing deep faith and loyalty to her spiritual leader.
