Media personality Kasuku has stirred debate after claiming that some mistresses enjoy greater financial benefits from married men than their wives.

Speaking on a YouTube podcast, Kasuku argued that some women involved with married men live lavish lifestyles, with houses, apartments and other expenses reportedly covered by their partners, while the men’s wives continue to struggle financially.

“Did you know that a side chick can get a house built for her when the housewife is still renting? Some married women have never seen a land title in their names, but the side chick has it from the same husband,” he said.

Kasuku went further to describe what he called the side-chick business as more lucrative than coffee, internet services and even oil, pointing to women who allegedly enjoy expensive lifestyles despite having no known jobs.

He claimed that some mistresses live in fully furnished apartments in upscale neighbourhoods, with their bills and other expenses taken care of by their married partners.

“She gets an apartment of two bedrooms in Kyanja that she doesn't even need but stays there and there's everything, including parking for their cars,” he said.

Kasuku’s remarks have highlighted the financial arrangements he says exist in some extramarital relationships, although the claims reflect his observations and do not establish how widespread such arrangements are.
