King Micheal Explains Why He Declined to Perform at President Museveni’s Rallies

Musician King Micheal, who has spent over a decade rallying support for President Museveni across the country, has revealed why he opted out of the ongoing campaign season.

In an interview with a local television station, King Micheal said he is exhausted after spending 15 years performing at presidential rallies. He explained that he chose to stay away this time because past promises made to him by government officials were never fulfilled.

“I am exhausted from people misjudging who I am. I didn’t want to join the campaign trail this year because I have been performing on it for the past fifteen years. I have been promised different things before and they were never fulfilled, so I chose to give up this time round,” he said.

King Micheal added that he also wanted to avoid being misjudged by fans who often associate musicians at rallies with political motives rather than professional performance.

When asked about which presidential candidate he supports in the current race, the singer declined to reveal his choice, saying he is still taking time to decide.
