Musician Rickman has finally addressed growing speculation about his love life, confirming that he is currently single and deliberately staying away from relationships.
Speaking in an interview with a local YouTuber, the singer revealed that he has taken a break from romance, explaining that relationships demand more time, attention and commitment than he is willing to give at the moment.
“I am not in a relationship at the moment. I took a break… I’m kind of fed up with relationships at this time. Relationships need time, attention and commitment, and right now I am focusing on my career,” Rickman said.
The artist also shut down any possibility of rekindling romance with media personality Sheila Gashumba, saying that chapter of his life is completely closed.
“I have since moved on and my plans are no longer on that,” he added.
However, Rickman clarified that he and Sheila still maintain occasional communication, mainly for business purposes.
“We talk if necessary and most times it’s business,” he explained during the interview with Mary Flavia Namulidwa.
For now, Rickman says his priority is music, growth and building his future — with love firmly on the back burner.
