Political temperatures are rising after media critic Frank Ntambi appeared to dramatically change tune.
Ntambi, once known as a fierce mobiliser for the National Unity Platform and vocal critic of the ruling National Resistance Movement, is now heaping praise on Yoweri Museveni following the President’s pledge to inject UGX 5 billion into the Content Creators SACCO.
The outspoken commentator didn’t hold back as he applauded the initiative, describing it as a game-changer for online media players.
Ntambi, who has positioned himself as a self-appointed spokesperson of the Content Creators SACCO, also praised fellow commentator Kasuku for spearheading the push that led to the financial pledge.
The twist? In the past, Ntambi has openly clashed with government-leaning musicians such as Eddy Kenzo and Bebe Cool, criticizing them for benefiting from state support.
Now critics are asking: Has Ntambi crossed over — or is he simply supporting an initiative for creatives regardless of politics?
