Ugandan singer Spice Diana has revealed that she prefers having more male friends than female friends, saying she feels more secure, appreciated, and supported around men.
Speaking during a media interview, the award-winning artiste reflected on her personal relationships and the dynamics within Uganda's music industry.
According to Spice Diana, her preference is based on her personal experiences rather than a dislike of women.
“I have more male friends than female friends, and I feel more secure around them. I feel more loved and appreciated, especially in our industry because girls aren't easy,” she explained.
Her remarks have sparked debate on social media, with some fans agreeing with her perspective while others argued that meaningful and supportive female friendships are equally valuable.
Spice Diana's comments add to the ongoing conversation about friendships, competition, and relationships within Uganda's entertainment industry, where she believes trust can sometimes be difficult to find.
