Musician Pallaso has accused events promoter Abbey Musinguzi, popularly known as Abitex, of being used by unnamed individuals to sabotage his music career, alleging that there are powerful forces working behind the scenes against him.
Speaking in an interview with a local television station, Pallaso claimed that Abitex is being used as a front for people determined to damage his career.
"An invisible hand is funding Abitex to destroy me. There are people who want it that way. He is doing all that to bring me down; he is being used," Pallaso said.
The singer also accused Abitex of financial misconduct, claiming that he has not been properly compensated for some of their dealings while allegedly being subjected to excessive financial demands.
Pallaso did not provide specific details or evidence to support the claims about the alleged individuals funding Abitex.
The remarks add to the tensions between the musician and the promoter, who have previously clashed publicly over various issues in Uganda's entertainment industry.
Pallaso further revealed that he would prefer working with another events promoter, Nobert Events, instead of Abitex in future.
