Dancehall star Ziza Bafana has vowed never to perform at President Museveni’s campaign rallies again, saying he would rather go broke than “get rich at the expense of suffering Ugandans.”

Dancehall musician Ziza Bafana in late September attended President Museveni's album launch at the event, which took place at Speke Resort Munyonyo.

Addressing the press, Bafana confirmed his commitment, citing the President's contributions to the arts.

He explained that on multiple occasions, media personalities have informed him that Bebe Cool paid them to stop playing his music.

Ritah Dancehall recently praised her former boss, singer Ziza Bafana, calling him one of the best artists she’s ever worked with.

Musician Ziza Bafana has repeatedly insisted he was intimately involved with Nina Roz, a claim the female artist continues to deny.

Bafana has joined their critics, blaming promoters for prioritizing disorganized artistes instead of working with organized and well-branded ones.

Bafana explained that Bebe Cool is talentless and is only surviving in music using money; he wouldn't be anywhere at this time without large sums of cash.

Bafana has defended himself, revealing he never intended to harm Kalifah Aganaga, claiming he was quoted out of context.

He believes our local artists here have the power and influence to drive brands even better than international artists.

He offered to campaign for him and invest money and resources in him to enable him to achieve his goal of removing Sevo from power.
