Dancehall musician Ziza Bafana has finally put an end to his years of political indecision, officially aligning himself with the ruling National Resistance Movement (NRM) government.
For the past two years, the artist has famously run between political camps—at times vocally supporting opposition leader Bobi Wine, and at others, rooting for President Yoweri Museveni's administration.
However, the speculation ended over the weekend when Bafana was prominently featured among the musicians attending President Museveni's music album launch at Speke Resort in Munyonyo.
Addressing the press, Bafana confirmed his commitment, citing the President's contributions to the arts.
"I have always advocated for the betterment of musicians. It's why I am here today, because the President has supported us as an industry. I appreciate him and will always be there for the National Resistance Movement," he stated.
Bafana joined a host of other prominent figures at the "Yoweri Music Album" launch, including Eddy Kenzo, Jose Chameleone, Catherine Kusasira, and Ronald Mayinja, marking his official settling into the ruling party's fold.
