
A soccer match in Cordoba, Argentina ended in tragedy when a young player shot and killed the referee three times after he showed him a red card for a foul.
The furious un named attacker, who is still at large and being hunted by the police, also shot another footballer, Walter Zárate aged 25, in the chest but he survived after being rushed to hospital.
Local police said the man being sought for the fatal shooting had the gun in his backpack and ran on to the pitch as the game was continuing.
He shot the 48-year-old referee César Flores three times, hitting him in the head, chest and neck in the city of Cordoba, central Argentina on Sunday.
Police said the attack happened 20 minutes into the game between two local sides from the neighborhood.
