A 22 year old lady who recently graduated from Kenyatta University was stabbed to death by her 36 year boyfriend identified as Maxwell Okoth (who is more of a sponsor) after she threatened to dump him for a younger man.
According to reports, Maxwell, who is an ex-military officer, paid University fees for the deceased and a week after graduating, she threatened to dump him like garbage.
The man allegedly tied his late girlfriend with a rope and stabbed her to death 10 times in the chest and neck before trying to commit suicide.
The watchman who guards the apartment where Maxwell lived with the deceased said that he heard a commotion at around 3 AM on Sunday.
When he went to find out what was going on, Maxwell threatened him with a knife.
He called police who arrived at the scene and found the lifeless body of the KU lady lying in a pool of blood.
The deceased boyfriend’s had also stabbed himself in the stomach while trying to commit suicide but police managed to arrest him before he was dead.
