Residents of Kisibo village in Bumbaire sub county, Bushenyi district are in shock after one of their own, 42-year-old Nelson Asiimwe strungled his son to death, for eating his bread without permission.
Asiimwe who is Police custody in the southwestern district of Bushenyi reportedly strangled his eight year old son Mark Asiimwe.
The father according to neighbors, arrived home on Wednesday evening and found that Mark had consumed bread that the family had kept for today's breakfast.
The greedy man the descended on the boy, strangled him death using a bed-sheet he wrapped around the deceased's neck.
It is however reported that the locals who moved in to help as the deceased who shouted for helped were too late to save him.
Martial Tumusiime, the Greater Bushenyi regional police spokesperson, explains that the police saved the killer father from being lynched by angry residents, and has been transferred to Bushenyi Police station pending investigations into the matter.
