Masked gunmen stormed the University today morning as students went for morning prayers and indiscriminately opened fire at them.
Reports coming out of the university indicate that there are a number of casualties as the gunmen are still holding quite a number hostage. It is also reported that Police and military have surrounded the university as they engage the gunmen.
Reports also indicate that many students are feared injured as forces try to get access to the university.
