Uganda’s basketball fraternity is mourning following the loss of one of their own. A one Maria Berinda, who plays with KCCA leopards passed on last night.
According to reports, Belinda has been a guard player with KCCA Leopards passed on the night of 15th july in her sleep at her home in Makerere near Makerere College.
The mysterious death left everyone in shock and unbelievable given the fact that she trained well an evening before with teammates. KCCA Leopards game Vs Magic Stomers slated for Friday has been called off but the men’s game will go on after a minute of silence.
The body has since been taken for a postmortem to ascertain the possible cause of her sudden demise.
May her soul rest in eternal peace.
