Our snoops have been reliably informed that NTV presenter Sheila Gashumba's money was stolen by her close friend while in Dubai hotel.
Sheila Gashumba runs a thriving multi million synthetic hair extensions and weaves business in the capital. Due to high demand for the beauty enhancing products from her corporate clients, she usually flies to Dubai to get new stock. It is said her close friend Sarah Natukunda girlfriend picked interest in her budding business and proposed that they make the trip together.
Frank Gashumba, Sheila's father supported the move and is said to have facilitated their air tickets to Dubai.
Sheila claims she checked with Sarah Natukunda at the hotel but they booked separate rooms that were beside each other. The following day while Sheila had moved about sight seeing, Sarah is said to have lodged a complaint that she had trouble with her door and managed to convince the receptionist to avail her key code to Sheila's room. She is said to have made off with over 10,000 dollars.
Sources say she immediately boosted our economy by sending some of the loot to Allan Toniks. It is said, Sarah is on the run since the hotel had security camera evidence of her in the act.
