Miss Uganda 2014-2015, Leah Kalanguka from Iganga district took the crown because she deserves it given the fact that she earned it by emerging with flying colors. Scratch that, her success however got a lot of positive and negative critic worldwide and from her own Country Uganda.
On the bright side, Leah got rounds of applause from well wishers for being strong and ready to move to the next phase of her career. For haters she wants you to know that she’s here till next winner is crowned and you can’t twist the fact that she got it for at least another year.
Leah said, “Social media is good. Positivity is good and negativity is good. We are in a free world (and) everyone is free to say what they want. I am here for a purpose. Lots of girls out there would like to be in my position. But for this year it’s me.”
This is exactly what happens; when you dominate someone with negativity that person will fight back because there’s nothing to lose.
