Singer Sadat Mukiibi known to his fans as Khalifa Aganaga is on the run for reportedly scamming music promoters in Luweero, igniting violence in the town where a lot of property worthy 30m was destroyed by fans who turned up for an empty stage without Aganaga on it performing … what a shame …sorry fans.
Damaged property at the scene includes a well furnished stage, plastic seats, generators and public address system among other valuable electric items. Organizers got the beating as well by the mob.
The authorities in Luweero are however, on the ground doing their home work to bring Khalifa Aganaga to justice.
“We have summoned Aganaga several times to report at Luweero Police Station but he is still dodging us,” Police spokesperson, Lameck Kigozi.
“We will continue looking for him until he is arrested.”
Kigozi who sounded so pissed ...made it clear to music promoters that similar occasions are common in the festive season where a lot of artists get booked for a couple of gig and that they should only announce when it’s truly affirmed that a particular musician will perfrom .
