Media personality Sasha Ferguson has finally addressed long–standing rumors circulating about the paternity of her children with NBS Television news anchor Canary Mugume.
In a strongly worded statement shared via her social platforms, Sasha dismissed claims that a DNA test was carried out to determine whether Canary Mugume is the father of their son, Cairo Mugume.
Sasha, who has recently been rumored to be facing marital issues, made it clear that she has never had doubts about the father of her children.
“This post is to set one thing straight that has been making rounds since last year about my son @cairomugume. No DNA was ever made on him or any doubts raised internally.”
She further explained that the rumors were created as a form of damage control, accusing unnamed individuals of using her child as a shield to cover up other issues.
“All those are false rumors fueled on an innocent soul as a way of damage control about the real matter blinded to most of you because it’s safer to play that card.”
Sasha expressed emotional pain over her children being dragged into controversy, adding that both are fathered by Canary Mugume.
“May no one ever face the pain of having their child used in playing a dirty game. (Both my children have one father).”
Sasha and Canary tied the knot in 2021 and share two children together.
