Well, information reaching us is that Singer Jose Chameleone has been tasked to come with a very nice song praising NRM works. It is said that Chameleone reached an arrangement with President Museveni to use his celebrity to enhance youth empowerment across the country.
Youth empowerment is going to be demonstrated in positive messages that will be aired in the songs.
Chameleone says that he was introduced to the President by the First Lady during a Thanksgiving ceremony in Semuto.
Chameleone says the First Lady informed Museveni about the charitable work that the singer was doing in Karamoja after a one man one million concert that saw singer construct 100 boreholes in the region….and it was from this that the president was impressed about.
However, in a local tabloid interview, Chameleone reportedly disclosed that he had offered himself as a youth empowerment goodwill ambassador, which he also said won the approval of the Head of State.
“I was very surprised when he actually listened to me amidst the many people who wanted to talk to him. President Museveni is a good man. I was wowed, he is cool,”
Meanwhile, Chameleone has also joined Museveni 2016 campaigns and he will be moving with the president traversing the country encouraging the youth to support Mzee.
