Popular TV presenter, Douglas Lwanga could be on his way out of the Serena based, NTV Uganda. There is a rumour going around that he has been sacked from the station following a restructuring process.
Different brands under the Nation media recently merged and in the process, the company laid off some staff.
However, reliable sources reveal that Douglas's contract expired, and the company is not interested in keeping him.
“They gave him the documents to sign a new contract but he is reluctant. He has set new terms and conditions and it is delaying the process,” another source revealed.
Meanwhile, it is very likely that he will move since NTV management is not agreeing to his new terms which include salary increment.
Crysto Panda is currently stepping in for Lwanga.
