Band musician Carol Nantogo has defended her husband, Dylan Semakula, against claims that he is irresponsible and does not provide for their family.
Rumours have circulated about who supports the household financially, with some people suggesting that Nantogo is the family’s main breadwinner, while others have pointed to veteran musician Mesach Semakula as the person providing for them.
Nantogo has dismissed the claims, insisting that her husband is hardworking, responsible and committed to taking care of his family.
“My husband is responsible; he provides for the family. He takes care of us. The rest is background noise that I don’t care about. He is a hardworking man,” she said in part.
She also said she has no problem with Mesach Semakula supporting the family, explaining that he is a parent to them.
