Ray Pan Takes Break From Artist Management to Focus on Restaurant Business

Talent manager Ray Pan has announced that he is taking a break from artist management to focus on his growing business interests.

Ray Pan, who has managed several Ugandan artists including Laika Music, Faymous, Irene Kayemba and the duo Kataleya & Kandle, said he is stepping away from music management for the time being.

Speaking during an interview with a local YouTuber, Ray Pan explained that he has invested considerable time and money in the music industry over the years but has not seen the returns he expected.

The talent manager said he has therefore decided to redirect his energy toward his restaurant business, Mahali Restaurant in Ntinda, while leaving the door open for a possible return to artist management in the future.

Ray Pan's announcement comes months after Kataleya & Kandle confirmed their departure from Ray Pan Management in May. The duo thanked him for his contribution to their careers and wished him well in his future endeavors.

For now, Ray Pan says his focus is on developing his business as he takes a break from managing artists.
