Comedian-turned-musician Shawa has ruled out working in a duo again following his split from longtime comedy partner Sammie.
Speaking in an interview with a local television station, Shawa said he is now focused on building his music career as a solo artiste and has no interest in entering another partnership.
“I embarked on this music career single-handedly, and I will manage through. I don’t want to be in a duo again, and I’m not interested in working with anyone else,” he said.
Shawa revealed that before starting his music career, he had invited Sammie to join him, but the offer was reportedly turned down.
He said the experience has influenced his decision to pursue his current path independently rather than form another duo in the future.
