MAK student a one Nyikang John Clement of Sudanese origin and a resident at Nana Hostel was stabbed by unknown goons and is currently nursing severe wounds at case clinic.
Nyikang is a student of Makerere University under adult education programme and a tutor at ministry of Energy industry and fisheries in South Sudan.
According to sources, John was stabbed on his way from the country’s embassy while drunk however it is said that John had developed a misunderstanding with some other guy whose name is not known over a girl which caused commotion as they exchanged bitter words and insults.
The Kampala metropolitan police spokesperson SP Patrick Onyango confirmed the incident and added that the police had opened up a file at Wandegeya Police staton CRB 1035/15 and was investigating the matter.
