Popular singer Mansur Ssemanda has revealed that he does not operate with a fixed booking fee despite being one of the most in-demand artists in Uganda.
Speaking during a TikTok discussion, King Saha explained that he prefers flexibility when it comes to performances, often accepting whatever promoters are able to offer.
“I don’t have a price tag. If someone calls me and they are not financially stable, I won’t start negotiating—I just go and perform,” he said.
The singer noted that the tough economic conditions affect both artists and event promoters, making it unrealistic to demand strict rates.
“When you are operating in a tough economy, you can’t dictate terms. Sometimes you just take what comes,” he added.
King Saha’s approach has contributed to his high number of bookings, with the artist consistently performing both in Kampala and upcountry.
His remarks have sparked mixed reactions, with some praising his humility and flexibility, while others question whether such a strategy undervalues his brand.
