Musician Ava Peace has expressed her desire to work with singer Sheebah Karungi, saying a collaboration with the celebrated artist would be a dream opportunity.
Ava Peace joined Jeff Kiwa’s Team No Sleep (TNS) shortly after Sheebah’s departure, a move that sparked speculation among some fans that she had been brought in as a replacement for the “Nkwatako” singer.
However, Ava has repeatedly dismissed those claims, emphasizing that she and Sheebah are two different artists with their own unique musical journeys.
“It is not true that I am a replacement for Sheebah or that I should be compared to her. We all do our own music,” Ava Peace explained.
Despite the comparisons over the years, the singer has made it clear that she holds no negative feelings toward Sheebah and would gladly share a studio with her if given the chance.
“I wouldn’t reject a collaboration with Sheebah Karungi. It is something I would take on without a second thought. It would be amazing if I ever had a collaboration with Sheebah,” she said in an interview with a local television station.
A collaboration between the two singers would likely excite many music lovers, given their connection to Team No Sleep and their individual contributions to Uganda’s music industry.
