Ugandan Pilgrim dies in Mecca

A Ugandan pilgrim has died in Mecca in Saudi Arabia where he had gone for hajj.

The deceased, Dauda Musoke, a resident of Namagoma in Kyengera town council in Wakiso district died at Assamaaha hotel in Makkah on Monday evening following a short illness.

A funeral prayer was held for Musoke's body shortly before it was laid to rest in a public cemetery about 4 Kilometers away from the holy city of Makkah, shortly after 8:30pm.

The late Musoke traveled to Makkah under Nakasero Tours and Travel under the leadership of Sheikh Muhammad Kawenda.
