Musician Kalifah Aganaga, aka Mukiibi Sadat, represented FDC in the just concluded Kawempe North MP elections.

Nsereko only managed to poll 32 votes in the whole constituency against 17,764 polled by Elias Nalukoola Luyimbazi, who emerged the winner of the election.

Lawyer Elias Luyimbazi Nalukoola secured victory with 17,764 votes, defeating the ruling National Resistance Movement (NRM) candidate Faridah Nambi, who garnered 8,593 votes.
