Every artiste is going into politics even those without academic credentials. At the recently held Kyarenga concert, Mathias Walukaga revealed that he is serious about standing for political office.
He said he was going to stand for mayor in Kyengera Town Council.
Walukaga said he was going to serve for only term as Mayor and then take a shot at Parliament. Jocularly he also hinted on going for the top most office.
Other musicians who have expressed interest to stand for political office are; Geoffrey Lutaya, Hilder man, Ronald Mayinja, and many more.
