Bebe Cool taught me how to be a musician - Tuff B

Media personality, musician, and politician Tuff B has expressed deep appreciation for his former boss Bebe Cool, acknowledging the major role he played in shaping his music career.

Speaking in an interview with a local YouTuber, Tuff B praised the Gagamel Entertainment boss for inspiring him to join the studio and for teaching him how to perform live music.

“He is the man who taught me to perform live music, and I’m very good at it because of him. He also gave me the motivation to go into the studio. He is a very good artiste,” Tuff B explained.

He further revealed that their relationship was built on mutual support — he promoted Bebe Cool’s music during his time on television, while Bebe Cool helped him develop his musical talent.

“I always tell people that we both supported one another. I supported him when I worked on television — I single-handedly pushed his music — and whatever he did for me was his way of giving back that love,” he added.

Tuff B’s comments come as a surprise to many, given the pair’s previously strained relationship. His remarks, however, reflect a tone of respect and gratitude toward one of Uganda’s biggest music icons.
