Ugandan singer Jowy Landa has set tongues wagging after making a bold confession about artists and their managers.
Speaking during an interview on a local television station, the singer said she would not have a problem being romantically involved with her manager — as long as both parties agree.
Her comments come at a time when rumors about artists dating their managers continue to circulate in the entertainment industry.
“I don't have any problem bonking with my manager as long as we have an agreement. I understand it is not the right thing to do but as mature people, we can always find a way,” Jowy Landa said.
The singer, who is currently signed under Smile Music, however made it clear that she is not currently involved with her manager.
According to her, the statement was simply her personal view on relationships between adults who understand each other.
Despite the clarification, her remarks have already stirred debate among fans — with some supporting her honesty while others question whether mixing business with romance is ever a good idea.
