Media personality Lynda Ddane has responded to backlash over her outfit at an event hosted by Etania Mutoni.
Lynda faced criticism online after showing up in a revealing jean “patra” outfit, which sparked debate among fans and social media users.
However, speaking in an interview with a local television station, she defended her fashion choice, insisting it was appropriate for the occasion.
“I don’t understand the criticism. I actually dressed for the occasion because we were celebrating Etania,” she said.
According to Lynda, the event had a clear theme inspired by Etania’s signature style, and most attendees followed the same dress code.
“90% of the event goers turned up in the same outfits and they didn’t receive the criticism,” she added.
She also suggested that the backlash may have been influenced by how the video was captured and shared online.
“I think whoever took the video had their own intentions,” she noted.
