Karole Kasita Explains Why She Missed the Nassanga Remix

Singer Karole Kasita has explained why she did not feature on the Nassanga remix, saying personal family challenges prevented her from completing the project despite initially being selected for the collaboration.

Speaking in an interview with a local television station, Kasita said she was going through difficult family circumstances at the time, making it hard for her to fully commit to the recording process.

"I had very many family problems and they were so personal that I couldn't tell them exactly what it was," she said.

Kasita revealed that despite the challenges, she still went to the studio to record her verse in an effort to honour the opportunity.

However, the recording session was interrupted by a power outage, and because of the personal issues she was dealing with, she was unable to return and complete the song.

The singer added that she had already paid the songwriter for her verse before handing it over to the producer.

Kasita said she believes the remix may ultimately have been meant for a different lineup, accepting how events unfolded.
